HISTORY
1945
Foundation of the company by Mr. Rafael Esteva Menéndez and other important investors.
1946
We started the distribution of the Cat® and John Deere brands.
1958
Inauguration of new and larger offices, with exclusive store, repair shop and warehouse areas.
1995
Opening of a second branch in Santiago, thus covering the northern part of the country.
1996
We acquired the exclusive representation and distribution of Mobil Lubricants.
1998
New administration of the company, with the transfer of control from Mr. Jaime R. Esteva Vives to his son Pedro T. Esteva Troncoso, current president of IMCA.
1999
Starts the operation of the first rental store “IMCA The Cat Rental Store”.
2003
Transfer of the Main Office to a larger location, which houses more cutting-edge equipment and services of the represented brands.
2007
Opening of our third branch in Bávaro-Punta Cana, covering the eastern part of the country.
2008
We started operations in Jamaica, as an authorized distributor of the represented brands. IMCA acquires the administration of the Mobil 1 Autodrome, the only Race Track in the country, which was maintained until 2014.
2013
We started the representation of the Metso brand.
